Printed on pink vinyl, this LP collects recordings of Deep Purple for the BBC, made at London's Maida Vale Studios and originally broadcast on several British public broadcaster radio programs between July 1969 and September 1970.

The lineup includes songs performed on the shows Chris Grant's Pop Sundae and Mike Harding's Sound Of Seventies, or made available to the 'Transcription Service' with which the BBC licensed bespoke programs to broadcasters around the world.

The lineup is classic Deep Purple Mark II - Ian Gillan, Jon Lord, Ritchie Blackmore, Roger Glover and Ian Paice - and the repertoire includes early period hits such as the cover of 'Hush' and 'Speed King', as well as a version of 'Hey Joe'.
